Kevin J Reid has a life-long passion for design and fabrication and has launched as his own hobby in a bid to showcase the very best that Leitrim can design and fabricate..

He is from Armagh, is married to Martina Foy from Mohill and has been in and around Leitrim for almost three decades.

Gerry Cashin

Gerry is a second generation mechanic and restoration specialist and works out of Cashin Motors in Mohill, Co Leitrim. Gerry’s expertise is evident in the number of vehicles on the road today in Co Leitrim and beyond, including the 1965 Volvo Amazon featured on the opening page of this website, which Gerry restored from 2015 to 2016.

Mick Serry

Mick is originally from Co Louth and is now living in Co Leitrim. He is a talented home mechanic and over the years had restored and modified numerous vehicles. His special interest is in motorcycles and he is a frequently seen on the roads of Leitrim on one of his latest creations which could be an MZ with a mono-wheel trailer or a diesel powered Yamaha with a handmade clutch-less gearbox.

Shane McGann

Shane is a Fitter/ Fabricator originally from Newtownforbes. Since childhood Shane has been a gifted mechanic and fabricator and has worked on cars, tractors, motorcycles and downhill racers, is also a talented driver and has competed in Rally and Autocross. Shane is well known for transforming his Kubota tractors and grass cutting machinery in his eternal quest for mechanical efficiency.

Kevin J Reid

Kevin is from Armagh and now spends the majority of his time in Leitrim. He has a life-long interest in motorcycles beginning at age 7 when he was pillion on his Mother’s Yamaha 1979 XS400, which is still in running order. He has a collection of six classic motorcycles and each year tours throughout Europe on them. In more recent years his interests have expanded into in veteran cars and classic motor boats.

Tom Finnegan

Fintos Electric Cars are an Irish electric car company based in Carrick-in-Shannon, Co Leitrim.

The Spika electric car is Fintos's first production car and is destined to go into production in 2021. The Spika is an ultra-lightweight 2 seater fully electric car with revolutionary scissors doors and a hybrid carbon fibre/aluminium chassis-tub structure.

Tom Finnegan, the Fintos CEO has lifelong experience of working with cars, rally-cars, tractors and machines of all kinds.
